3rd Star, from the Tampa Bay Lightning, numero 30, Antero Niittymaki… rang off three wins last week with a 1.32 gaa & .955 sv%.
2nd Star, from the Washington Capitals, numero 19, Nicklas Backstrom… 2+8=10 & a plus-6 is enough and the 14 PIMs were just gravy.
1st Star, from the Toronto Maple Leafs, numero 35, JS Giguere… only two games but two shutouts in his first two games with the Leafs… easy choice.
